NEWSLETTER 2007-08
|
|
Welcome to the second edition of Quest’s newsletter. The newsletters aim is to keep you up to date with any special offers, training courses and of course any new developments that may have happened over the year or any future developments that may be happening.
Questionnaire Results
Each year you are asked to complete a short questionnaire, which is to see what you think of the service being provided and if any changes should be made. Once again thank you to all of you that completed the questionnaire your comments and suggestions are very useful. The following suggestions were made concerning what services you would like to see added to Quest’s products:
Q Hot Stone Therapy Q Aromatherapy Q Yoga
Driffield Show
Quest was represented at the Enterprise Tent at Driffield Show again kindly sponsored by Leader+ a Local Government initiative. We had an enjoyable day offering Reflexology/Chair Massage and Hand and Arm Massage taster sessions to the public.
New Developments
Well what a year, a lot of positive things have happened since the last newsletter, the Equine Sports Massage service has been officially added to the business and is growing from strength to strength.
Upon the request of last year’s questionnaire I have undertaken a course in Thermal Auricular Therapy (also known as Hopi Ear Candles), which is a pleasant and non-invasive treatment of the ears, used to treat a variety of conditions. This service should officially be added around September/October 2007.
Stress Management was also requested and I have been very fortunate to team up with a fantastic practitioner, Janet from Anahata Healing, offering a one-day workshop using the five senses and natural methods to manage stress.
Quest has also teamed up with a company called Occasional Gifts which is an up and coming business supplying beautiful gifts including holistic therapy gifts and stunning items for the home. So, whatever the occasion, they can provide great gift ideas to suit your individual requirements. As well as having a showroom in Selby they also visit the home, so why not host an in-house party in the comfort of your own home?
Quest is also offering its services to tourists up and down the country in the Home Grown Home! Which is a unique holiday experience! The straw Bale Cabin is the perfect escape to the countryside; peaceful, relaxing and environmentally friendly.
Last Year I became the Marketing and Exhibitions committee member for the International Association of Infant Massage which has been a great pleasure so if any of you are holding any event that you think may help in raising the profile of the IAIM nationally or locally please do not hesitate to contact me.
Not only that but Andy from Firehazard: Design & Media has totally revamped the website and had to put up with all the swapping, changing and hair brain ideas I keep coming up with! So a great big thank you to him.
The Best Of are asking friends, family and customers of Quest Holistic Therapy to write a short review on the business. Thousands of reviews and recommendations of quality businesses have been added to the site right across the country - all written by local people who know and use local businesses.
I want to make sure that you do not miss out on the Prize Draw for everyone that writes a review. They are giving away £100 each day between now and the end of August, to be spent with a local business that is featured on The Best Of.
Please help enhance my listing on the site and your comments will be very much appreciated.
Don't delay go to The Best Of, type in Quest Holistic Therapy (Massage or Horse Supplies) and add your review.
